About
The Company Wire
An independent newsroom covering the companies building what's next.
The Company Wire was founded on a simple observation: the most consequential business stories of the decade are being written inside private companies, and most of them are covered badly or not at all.
We report on startups, artificial intelligence, venture capital, funding rounds, product launches, acquisitions, expansions, layoffs and failures. We are not a press-release wire. Every story is reported, edited and fact-checked by named journalists.
We are reader-funded and advertising-supported. Sponsored placements are always labeled, never written by our newsroom, and never influence coverage.
