Brazilian enterprise software vendor TOTVS S.A. is expanding its operational scope by pairing its artificial intelligence foundation with cloud infrastructure services. The initiative extends the company’s footprint beyond its traditional enterprise software applications, aiming to assist commercial customers in building and executing specialized AI agents directly within their core operating environments.

The company is launching the infrastructure initiative from a substantial vantage point within South America’s largest commercial market. According to Mara Maehara, chief information officer of TOTVS, roughly 25% of Brazil’s gross domestic product flows through systems managed by the vendor. The company's software stack supports more than 70,000 enterprise clients across Brazil. Maehara outlined the strategy during an interview on theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio, during the "theCUBE + NYSE Wired: AI Factories – Data Centers of the Future" series, reported by SiliconANGLE (https://siliconangle.com/2026/10/02/totvs-grounds-enterprise-ai-foundation-in-brazilian-business-data-aifactoriesdatacenters/).

A core element of the strategy is LYNN, a recently launched AI foundation layer designed for building and deploying targeted business agents. Rather than focusing on generic generative tools, LYNN provides a technology layer that lets corporate clients connect AI capabilities directly to their transactional software and proprietary data. The architecture allows businesses to build custom agents or deploy preconfigured agents tailored to specific operational requirements.

Maehara noted that general-purpose artificial intelligence models are increasingly commoditized across the industry. As a result, commercial value relies on applying models to specific enterprise use cases backed by proprietary operational data. By keeping data tied directly to core business systems, TOTVS aims to help organizations turn existing operational records into functional advantages.

Alongside the AI layer, TOTVS is introducing an Infrastructure-as-a-Service offering. The new infrastructure product allows enterprise clients to run their complete IT environment within the same hosting infrastructure previously used for TOTVS applications. By hosting a client's broader software environment, TOTVS intends to deliver improved performance, security, and scalability across the entire workload footprint.

To support the hardware requirements for the rollout, TOTVS is collaborating with Dell Technologies Inc. The two companies are evaluating hardware portfolios, testing technologies, and exploring joint go-to-market solutions. Dell’s role spans compute, storage, and networking systems to supply the technical foundation for TOTVS's infrastructure expansion.

Diego Puerta, general manager for Dell Technologies in Brazil, said initial discussions were demanding due to hardware supply constraints and equipment costs. Engineering and business teams from both companies worked closely to align supply logistics and evaluate products to match technical requirements.

The collaboration highlights a wider pattern among enterprise software providers seeking to unite data governance, AI tooling, and physical infrastructure. By delivering compute capacity and application-specific AI under a unified operational model, TOTVS is working to lower friction for Brazilian businesses shifting artificial intelligence from testing environments into standard production.
