Boeing Engineers and Technical Workers Approve Four-Year Contract, Averting Strike
The agreement delivers immediate 10% pay raises for roughly 17,000 white-collar staff as Boeing pursues federal aircraft approvals.

Boeing engineers and technical workers have approved a revised four-year contract featuring immediate 10% raises, avoiding a potential strike as the aerospace company seeks federal approval for new aircraft.
The vote concludes negotiations between the planemaker and its largest white-collar union, the Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace (SPEEA), according to reporting by CNBC Business (https://www.cnbc.com/2026/10/01/boeing-contract-engineers-technical-workers.html).
The union represents roughly 13,000 Boeing engineers and 4,000 technical workers. Boeing sweetened its contract offer in mid-September after the workforce rejected an earlier proposal.
"We secured many victories that some thought were completely out of reach when this negotiation cycle started," SPEEA said in a statement following the vote.
