Supply Chain AI Startup RetailReady Quadruples Revenue and Expands San Francisco Team
The Y Combinator alumnus has raised $6.6 million to reduce warehouse packing errors using computer vision.

San Francisco-based startup RetailReady is hiring to expand its operations following a year of growth, according to details published by Hacker News (https://www.ycombinator.com/companies/retailready/jobs/bFcgIe4-implementations). The company, a graduate of Y Combinator's Winter 2024 batch, develops computer vision and software systems designed to enforce compliance during fulfillment and packing.
RetailReady stated that it has raised $6.6 million in total funding and quadrupled its revenue over the past 12 months. The startup has onboarded more than 50 customers to date as it targets widespread manual inefficiencies across supply chains.
Many warehouse operations still rely on paper instructions and tribal knowledge, creating shipping errors that lead to retail compliance penalties when delivering goods to major chains such as Walmart and Target. RetailReady's platform uses camera vision at packing stations to instruct workers and verify that outbound orders meet merchant-specific packing rules.
Longer term, RetailReady aims to turn its compliance datasets into an underlying operating system to direct future warehouse robotics and automated material handling systems. The company is currently recruiting for an implementations role to join its in-person team in San Francisco.
