TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 Side Events Feature Global Showcases and Frontier Tech Gatherings

The core conference takes place October 13–15 at Moscone West, with off-site programming encompassing trade showcases, technical demonstrations, and founder gatherings.

East Asian delegations and accelerators represent a noticeable portion of the schedule. KOTRA Silicon Valley is hosting a networking evening connected to its Korea Pavilion programming to support South Korean startups entering the U.S. market, providing complimentary Expo+ passes to qualified applicants. WayFounder is staging a showcase featuring 18 startups from the Republic of Korea, while Brinc is hosting an evening of rapid-fire pitches for Korean founders operating across artificial intelligence, enterprise software, medtech, and clean technology. In addition, 500 Global is convening a demo showcase of 12 Japanese startups building across AI, biotech, defense, and enterprise software, and Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs is running presentations focused on robotics, AI, and advanced manufacturing.

European delegations and workforce providers are also organizing major gatherings. Enterprise Ireland is bringing back its "Irish Shark Tank" happy hour at Ireland House, while remote health coverage provider SafetyWing is hosting a meetup for founders and human resources operators at Harrington's Irish Pub.

Specialized technical sessions cover infrastructure, security, and hardware. Security platforms Skyflow and Descope are co-hosting a gathering addressing privacy and identity management challenges tied to autonomous AI systems. Hardware community Syntro is organizing a presentation-free meetup for engineers and founders working on robotics, semiconductors, and rockets. In medical devices, Uhura Bionics co-founder Konrad Zieliński will demonstrate the Whitney Electrolarynx, a voice-restoration device designed for patients following cancer treatment.

Software automation and developer-oriented events include an interactive demonstration by Bolter and Improbable showing live no-code workflow generation, as well as a "SQLDoom" arcade competition hosted by database provider CedarDB. Additional events on the calendar include product workshops by PrincipiumX, AI infrastructure discussions by Fynex, deep tech investor dinners by INNOVA and BeGlobe PR Agency, pitch breakout sessions by Startup Oasis, a waterfront morning run organized by Handler, and a recovery session combining saunas and cold plunges for Startup Battlefield 200 participants hosted by Press Club.
