Anthropic has released Sonnet 5.5, the latest iteration of its mid-tier artificial intelligence model family.
According to Anthropic's vendor-reported figures, Sonnet 5.5 generates outputs more than 30% faster than its predecessor, Sonnet 5. The company also states that the updated model costs up to 30% less per task to run.
In addition to the Sonnet 5.5 deployment, Anthropic indicated plans to launch Haiku 5.5 in the near future.
