Newly reported pricing details show API token rates for GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna falling roughly 50 percent below those of the preceding GPT-5.6 model.
Under the reported rate structure, the flagship GPT-6 Sol costs $2.00 per 1 million input tokens and $10.00 per 1 million output tokens. The smaller GPT-6 Luna variant is priced at $0.10 per 1 million input tokens and $0.50 per 1 million output tokens.
Across both model tiers, output generation is billed at five times the rate of input processing, while overall token fees represent an approximate 50 percent reduction compared to GPT-5.6.
