Ark Invest Trims Palantir and AMD Holdings to Buy $3.35 Million in Archer Aviation
Cathie Wood’s flagship Ark Innovation ETF reallocates capital to the eVTOL maker following its subsidiary deal with Boeing.

Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest has adjusted holdings in its flagship Ark Innovation ETF, trimming positions in Palantir Technologies and Advanced Micro Devices while buying approximately $3.35 million worth of shares in Archer Aviation, according to portfolio trade disclosures reported by Yahoo Finance (https://finance.yahoo.com/markets/stocks/articles/cathie-wood-sold-palantir-amd-202500594.html).
The sales in Palantir and AMD follow significant gains for both holdings. Despite the recent reductions, both remain among the fund's largest investments, with Palantir ranking as the 11th-largest holding and AMD as the 12th-largest holding.
By comparison, Archer Aviation represents a smaller allocation in the fund, ranking as the 30th-largest position and making up roughly 1.2% of the Ark Innovation ETF portfolio by weight.
The purchase comes as Archer Aviation advances a transaction with Boeing to acquire three subsidiaries: autonomous flight developer Wisk Aero, drone maker Insitu, and airspace management platform SkyGrid. Under the terms of that deal, Boeing will receive a 16.5% equity stake in Archer and serve as a strategic partner.
Archer Aviation develops electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. Although its share price initially rose after announcing the Boeing transaction, the equity has surrendered much of that advance, trading down approximately 31% year to date and 62% below its previous high.
