Nvidia Corp. posted strong financial results for its second quarter, highlighted by a doubling of total revenue and substantial profit growth year-over-year, according to corporate disclosures.

The chipmaker recorded overall Q2 revenue of $96.2 billion, representing a 106 percent surge compared to the same quarter in the previous year. The expansion reflects sustained top-line momentum across the company's core technology business units.

The primary driver of the quarter's growth was Nvidia's Data Center business, which generated $89 billion in revenue. That performance represents a 117 percent increase from the corresponding period a year ago.

The Data Center division accounted for the vast majority of Nvidia's total revenue for the quarter, underlining the central role of server and enterprise infrastructure hardware within the company's broader operational output.

In addition to its server-focused operations, Nvidia reported that its Edge Computing segment generated $7.2 billion during the second quarter. The division's revenue rose 27 percent year-over-year.

Nvidia's bottom line experienced marked expansion alongside its top-line gains. The company reported net income of $59.7 billion for the second quarter, marking a 126 percent gain relative to the prior-year period.

The quarterly performance figures were originally published in the Nvidia Newsroom and highlighted in industry filings on August 26, 2026, as first reported by Techmeme.
