Lamborghini Debuts Limited-Edition Revuelto SV Hybrid Supercar

Italian luxury automaker Lamborghini has officially launched the Revuelto SV, a limited-production hybrid vehicle that stands as the fastest and most powerful road car ever produced at its Sant'Agata Bolognese facility, as first reported by CNBC Business.

The new flagship vehicle expands Lamborghini's historic "SV" badge lineup, which debuted 55 years ago with the Miura SV. Historically, SV designations have been reserved for lighter, more aerodynamically tuned, and higher-output iterations of the company's top-tier supercars.

The powertrain pairs a naturally aspirated V12 internal combustion engine with three electric motors, pushing total output beyond 1,050 horsepower. The hybrid configuration enables the vehicle to accelerate from zero to 100 kilometers per hour (62 mph) in 2.4 seconds.

Speaking to CNBC Business, Alessandro Farmeschi, product line director for the Revuelto, explained that the electrification effort is intended to expand vehicle performance while maintaining brand characteristics. Farmeschi emphasized that customers select the brand for its combination of styling and integrated engineering, adding that technical substance and engine acoustics remain central to the platform.

"The Revuelto SV gives our customers the opportunity to go beyond in terms of performance," Farmeschi told CNBC Business. "We wanted to give them something more race-oriented, and, at the same time, something that could give them the adrenaline of driving Lamborghini [while] really enjoying and having fun driving."

Beyond performance enhancements, the Revuelto SV features redesigned exterior aerodynamics with sharper angles, redesigned fins, updated wings, and modified air intakes to optimize airflow and downforce. Mechanical modifications include a specifically re-engineered suspension system, updated carbon-ceramic brake discs, and a dedicated Pilota Mode designed for customizable racetrack configurations.

The vehicle's interior has also been reconfigured to resemble a motorsport cockpit. Standard equipment includes sport seats with a carbon shell architecture, with optional monocoque carbon-fiber racing seats available for track-oriented buyers.

Lamborghini will capped production of the Revuelto SV at 1,963 units globally, with starting prices set at $741,172. Limited-run models from the manufacturer frequently sell out prior to public unveiling, with SV variants traditionally retaining strong resale values in high-net-worth collector markets.
