Cyera Ltd. has secured $400 million in fresh capital from Goldman Sachs in an extension to its Series G round, according to a report from SiliconANGLE (https://siliconangle.com/2026/09/22/cyera-raises-another-400m-amid-ai-agent-security-push/). The company's initial Series G close in June valued the business at $12 billion; Cyera stated that the new injection lifts its valuation to "over $12 billion," though it did not disclose an exact figure.

Large enterprises routinely distribute records across dozens of independent storage systems, complicating basic data governance. Cyera operates a cloud platform that catalogs where sensitive business files reside, identifies the specific contents of those records, maps access permissions, and evaluates whether the underlying storage configurations meet corporate security baselines.

Following its June funding milestone, the startup expanded its product suite to address cybersecurity risks introduced by autonomous artificial intelligence agents. The company introduced Agent Guardian, which builds an inventory of all AI agents interacting with enterprise repositories, scans agent tools and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, and flags excessive data permissions. Administrators can set governance policies that enable Agent Guardian to block risky operations or quarantine non-compliant agents entirely.

To address local machine environments, Cyera also released Cyera Endpoint. The utility monitors AI agents operating on employee workstations that fall outside traditional network security perimeters, preventing staff from feeding proprietary records into non-work agents or letting local agents extract data without authorization.

The funding extension follows Cyera's completed $1 billion acquisition of Oasis Security Ltd. earlier this month. Oasis develops tools to discover and monitor non-human identities (NHIs)—the service accounts and machine credentials that AI agents use to access enterprise platforms—and flags administrative accounts granted broader permissions than necessary.

"AI infrastructure is moving faster than the security architecture around it," said Cyera co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Yotam Segev, who founded the company with Tamar Bar-Ilan and Yonatan Itay. "This investment accelerates our work to bring data and identity together, so enterprises can give agents access with confidence and keep that access aligned with business intent."

Cyera plans to direct the new capital toward engineering additional AI security features while expanding sales into international markets and the federal government sector.
