Canary Capital has launched the Canary Staked TRX ETF (NYSEMKT: TRXS), introducing the first exchange-traded fund focused on Tron, the eighth-largest digital asset by market capitalization. The fund is the sixth ETF launched by Canary Capital.

According to reporting from Yahoo Finance (https://finance.yahoo.com/markets/crypto/articles/investors-now-invest-surging-tron-194700381.html), the fund began trading on Sept. 8 and accumulated $50.3 million in assets under management by Sept. 16.

The fund pursues two core investment objectives: providing direct price exposure to Tron (TRX) and participating in the network's proof-of-stake consensus mechanism. By staking tokens to validate network transactions, the ETF generates additional TRX rewards on behalf of shareholders, managing the lockup periods and operational steps internally.

Canary Capital charges an annual management fee of 1.1%, or $110 per $10,000 invested. This fee structure is higher than the broader cryptocurrency ETF category average of 0.83%.

The Tron blockchain serves as a primary settlement rail for stablecoins, notably Tether (USDT), seeing significant usage in e-commerce and developing markets. Canary Capital attributes the network's adoption to fast transaction finality, low transaction costs, and high network throughput.
