Identity verification software provider FOREWARN, a wholly owned subsidiary of Red Violet Inc. (NASDAQ: RDVT), has entered into a partnership agreement with the Pacific West Association of REALTORS (PWR). Under the terms of the deal, PWR will roll out FOREWARN's real-time safety and identity screening technology across its network of more than 10,000 California real estate agents. The tools will be offered to PWR members without any added fees, according to reporting by Yahoo Finance (https://finance.yahoo.com/real-estate/articles/red-violet-rdvt-expands-forewarn-202948729.html).

The FOREWARN platform is accessible to real estate professionals via desktop web browsers and mobile application interfaces. The system enables agents to perform background checks and verify prospect identities using an incoming phone number. The service relies on built-in risk evaluation capabilities that index and process billions of data points.

The enterprise partnership comes on the heels of steady user additions for Red Violet's safety platform. In its second fiscal quarter of 2026, the company added 25,493 new users to the FOREWARN service. Extending platform availability through regional trade associations represents a primary channel in Red Violet's broader commercial push to embed its risk management tools across the residential real estate sector.

Financial specifics surrounding the arrangement were not made public. Red Violet did not disclose the total contract value, per-user pricing structures, expected member activation rates, or projected revenue contributions resulting from the agreement, making the near-term financial outcome difficult to evaluate.

Large-scale organizational deployments carry potential operational and financial trade-offs for software providers. Bundling services into association memberships can compress per-user profit margins and introduce concentration risks. Furthermore, providing complimentary access to an organization's membership base does not ensure active software adoption, which could limit the contract's long-term impact on customer retention and upselling opportunities.

The deployment also carries operational exposure related to data accuracy. Relying on background verification tools creates potential liability and reputational risks if the platform fails to surface relevant criminal history prior to an agent participating in a physical property showing or client meeting.

Hedge fund ownership in Red Violet remained static heading into the second half of fiscal 2026. Data from 13F filings tracked by Insider Monkey indicated that 19 hedge funds held positions in Red Violet at the end of the second quarter of 2026, matching the tally from the prior quarter. Short interest in RDVT currently sits at 3.28% of outstanding shares.

BlackRock remains the primary institutional shareholder in Red Violet, holding 950.76 thousand shares, which represents a 5.92% ownership stake. Other prominent institutional investors in the business include Wasatch Advisors, which holds a 5.55% position, and Trigran Investments, which controls 3.74% of outstanding shares.

Despite deployment uncertainties, institutional partnerships offer Red Violet a direct channel to increase platform adoption and build brand recognition within the real estate vertical. Continued integration into industry workflows aligns with the firm's overarching strategy to scale recurring enterprise software revenue.
