Merry's Irish Cream Liqueur Introduces Updated Bottle Design

Merry's Irish Cream Liqueur has revealed a new bottle design for its product line, now available across the United States. The liqueur, manufactured in Ireland's Golden Vale region, uses fresh dairy cream from grass-fed cows and aged Irish whiskey.

The updated packaging features a matte black neck with gold accents and a refined logo that highlights the product's Irish origins. A softer color palette aims to enhance the liqueur's presence on retail shelves while maintaining its established visual identity. Peter Cooney, co-founder of Merry's, stated that the new packaging honors the brand's heritage by emphasizing its Irish roots and presenting a more contemporary, premium appearance to consumers.

In October, Merry's plans to release a new flavor: Dubai Chocolate Irish Cream Liqueur. This new offering incorporates pistachio's exotic notes with Irish cream, aged Irish whiskey, and chocolate. The Dubai Chocolate variety has already received a Double Gold Medal and a 98-point rating at the 2026 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, generating anticipation for its release.

Merry's production process emphasizes a farm-to-bottle approach, sourcing cream from local grass-fed Irish cows. The cream is processed within 12 hours of milking and then blended with aged Irish whiskey. This method has contributed to the liqueur's balance and taste, recognized through various international awards.

Merry’s Original Irish Cream Liqueur, priced at $15.99 for a 750ml bottle, has been recognized as the World’s Best Cream Liqueur and World’s Best Irish Cream Liqueur in the World Liqueur Awards. It features notes of chocolate, vanilla, and toffee, concluding with a sweet finish. The brand also offers Merry’s White Chocolate Irish Cream Liqueur, awarded World’s Best Chocolate Liqueur, characterized by white chocolate, vanilla bean, and whiskey undertones. Merry’s Salted Caramel, also a World’s Best Irish Cream Liqueur winner, combines creamy toffee, vanilla, and salted caramel.

The upcoming Dubai Chocolate variant, also priced at $15.99 for 750ml, will debut on October 1. Its 98-point Double Gold award from the 2026 San Francisco World Spirits Competition underscores its luxurious profile, which includes dark chocolate, pistachio, vanilla, and whiskey notes, blending traditional Irish quality with a Dubai-inspired chocolate influence.

Merry's liqueurs are suitable for various cocktails and dessert drinks, from frozen Irish Coffees to adult popsicles. A suggested recipe, Merry's Creamy Dreamy Popsicles, combines four parts Merry’s White Chocolate Irish Cream Liqueur with sixteen parts whole milk, three parts simple syrup, and one packet of gelatin, then frozen after warming and dissolving the gelatin.
