Inevitable AI Group (IAIG), a newly established venture studio, has successfully secured $6 million in pre-seed funding from Aleph, a prominent Israeli investment fund. The studio's objective is to foster and introduce a substantial number of new software startups to the market before the conclusion of the year.

Co-founders Nimrod Lehavi and Ofer Bar-Or established IAIG with the conviction that the current advancements in software development economics present a unique opportunity. They aim to identify prospective founders with innovative concepts and assist them in deploying AI-native applications and services rapidly, capitalizing on the progress in autonomous software development.

Lehavi and Bar-Or hypothesize that the capacity of AI systems, such as Claude Code, to generate application code quickly will enable smaller teams to design, build, launch, and scale new software ventures with unprecedented speed. The studio has implemented a rigorous selection process to identify entrepreneurs building AI-native products within established software markets that exhibit proven demand and clear potential for AI to enhance efficiency, improve accessibility, or reduce costs.

Upon identifying a promising startup, IAIG furnishes comprehensive tools and support to facilitate swift product development and the execution of a market entry strategy, aiming for accelerated scaling. By extensively integrating AI tools throughout the company-building process, IAIG posits that its startups can achieve feature parity with more entrenched software vendors within weeks of their debut, and maintain significantly lower operating costs due to heavy automation.

Lehavi noted that contemporary software companies, designed for an earlier technological era, face challenges in integrating AI. In contrast, AI-native startups can structure their entire business development and operational strategies around automation, allowing them to operate with leaner teams. This approach is not merely theoretical; IAIG has already facilitated the launch of nine startups since its inception in January and plans to support many more.

An example of IAIG's strategy is Corebee Chat Ltd., an AI-native customer support software company. Corebee Chat directly competes with established players like Zendesk Inc., Freshdesk Inc., and ServiceNow Inc. in a market generating an estimated $25 billion in annual revenue. Unlike incumbents whose architectures are built around human intervention, Corebee's platform is designed with AI handling all aspects of customer support, from reading tickets to providing responses, leading to better customer experiences and more affordable pricing.

IAIG's portfolio also includes Spiceform Inc., which develops AI-powered adaptive forms; VScout Ltd., an AI-native recruitment platform; Keply Ltd., an automated customer success platform; Rumore Ltd., offering AI-enabled reputation management software; and Mahakala, an AI-based smart scheduling application. Eden Shochat, a partner at Aleph, remarked that these startups refute the notion of a 'SaaSpocalypse,' instead suggesting that AI is reinventing SaaS by enabling customers to create custom tools on demand.

Holger Mueller, an analyst at Constellation Research, acknowledged the significant impact of AI in enterprise, particularly in code creation and business process automation, which IAIG aims to leverage. While IAIG's efforts could spur competition and improvement among established SaaS vendors, Mueller cautioned that supplanting legacy players might prove challenging, especially regarding the automation of maintenance and support aspects of their businesses.

Lehavi and Bar-Or bring considerable experience to IAIG. Lehavi co-founded SimplexCC Ltd., a financial technology firm acquired for approximately $300 million in 2021. Bar-Or's 30-year career spans telecommunications, semiconductors, machine learning, and internet infrastructure. Bar-Or emphasized that the key to successful software startup launches today lies in identifying market needs and leveraging AI to simplify execution, thereby allowing entrepreneurs to concentrate on problem-solving rather than development complexities.
