Union Square Ventures Raises $900 Million Across New Funds, Shrinks Partnership to Four
The venture firm increased its flagship early-stage vehicle to $500 million and plans to lead more artificial intelligence rounds.

Union Square Ventures has raised $900 million across its latest fund vehicles, according to reporting from Bloomberg aggregated by Techmeme (https://www.techmeme.com/261008/p47#a261008p47).
The total includes a $500 million early-stage vehicle, marking a substantial step up from the firm's prior $275 million early-stage fund raised in 2024.
Alongside the larger capital pool, USV has reduced its core leadership team, cutting its general partnership to four investors.
The streamlined partnership intends to use the fresh capital to take lead roles in financing rounds for artificial intelligence startups, positioning the firm to lead more early-stage deals across the sector.
